About Dj Mista E

DJ MISTA E is a versatile urban and party deejay based in London, England. He currently holds residencies at The Academy and Liquid/Envy in Uxbridge, West London, and frequently plays out at various clubs in London's West End.

He cut his djing teeth doing warm up sets for guest djs at Brunel University, including Shortee Blitz, DJ 279, DJ Swerve, Rodney P & Skitz and the Scratch Perverts. He's since worked with some of the biggest DJs and acts in the game, such as Tim Westwood, Jazzy Jeff and Scratch Perverts.

For three years he djed and produced The Show: non stop hip hop, an award nominated radio show on B1000 radio. His latest radio project is Tricky Business Radio a fortnightly hip hop radio podcast.

Brunel's party king, he was resident at Decades back when it used to sell out within 30 minutes, and successfully saw oversaw the launch of the national student night Flirt! at The Academy. As a party dj, he's worked with such legendary(!) entertainers as Screech Saved By The Bell, Chesney Hawkes, Pat Sharpe, Keith (from The Office) and Alan Fletcher (Neighbours’ Karl Kennedy).
